A State of Copper

A State of Copper
A State of Copper

At Canvas and Paddle we are proud to partner with A State of Copper, handmade originals honoring our Great State and Great Lakes. The artwork is made on heavy gauge metal and framed in barn wood frames and each one is unique!

The process in which to create a piece consists of 42 steps including various natural acids being combined and a crystal clear resin application once the desired look is achieved. This halts the possibility of further oxidation and protects the artwork for life.

A State of Copper has added beautiful copper coasters to their collection. These coasters feature Michigan, the Great Lakes, the Upper Peninsula and the Mackinac Bridge. They are bold and bright, perfectly in line, representing Michigan! They make the perfect gift or addition to your home.

A State of Copper is a wonderful representation of Michigan pride! We hope that next time you are in Canvas & Paddle, that you will pick up one of these gorgeous handmade pieces to take home with you.

Canvas and Paddle Instagram Takeover: Stormy Kromer

Did you follow Canvas and Paddle’s Instagram Takeover from Stormy Kromer, @stormykromerofficial? If you missed it, head on over to @canvasandpaddle on Instagram to see what’s been posted lately.

Stormy Kromer is iconic for their winter caps, but they also make so much more! Stormy Kromer was started in 1903, when George (aka Stormy!) kept on losing his baseball caps in the wind. His wife, Ida, created a design that would help keep his hat firmly in place, officially creating Stormy Kromer!

Stormy Kromer now has a men’s and women’s line, a doggie line and so many fun accessories! Stormy Kromer is known for being tough, warm and good looking! If you’re brave enough to withstand Michigan’s weather, don’t do it without first stopping into Canvas and Paddle and shopping our Stormy Kromer line!

Thanks again to the folks at Stormy Kromer for the awesome takeover!
